I built Lit Actually from a simple belief: books are better when they bring people together.
What started as a romance-focused bookshop quickly became something bigger: a place for readers to connect, celebrate stories out loud and feel books in ways that are immersive, joyful and, dare I say, unforgettable. From sold-out author events like Hockey Romance Night with the Crunch or Hot Dogs & HEAs with the Mets, to exclusive launch events and community collaborations across Central New York, I am obsessed with creating experiences that feel bigger than just “shopping for books.”
My favorite part of all this is the goosebumps from watching strangers become BFFs. I fall apart seeing readers meet their favorite authors with tears in their eyes.
And honestly? We’re just getting started.
