Lit Actually does not accept returns or exchanges and does not issue refunds, including for books, merchandise, preorder items, special orders, signed books.

Please review all product details, event information and order selections carefully before completing your purchase.

If you receive an incorrect item or an item with significant damage, contact us at kelly@litactuallybookshop.com within five days of delivery or pickup. Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos. Minor cosmetic imperfections to books, including small dents, scuffs or variations from printing and shipping, do not qualify as damage.

Lit events are 18+ unless otherwise stated.

All tickets for our store events are refundable up to 7 days before the event.

If you purchase a ticket for one of our events that includes a book and are no longer able to attend the event, you can still receive your book two different ways. Picking it up in store or having it shipped to you (shipping fees will apply) within 10 business days of the event.

If you do not pick up your book or request to have it shipped to you within the 10 business days, your book will be restocked and no refunds will be granted.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before arriving for pickup. An order confirmation does not mean the order is ready.

Regular store pickup orders must be collected within 30 days of the ready-for-pickup notification.

Orders that are not collected within 30 days will be returned to store inventory. No refund, store credit or replacement will be issued.

Books purchased as part of an event ticket, event package or event preorder must be collected at the event or within 10 days following the event date.

Event books that are not collected within 10 days will be returned to store inventory. No refund, store credit or replacement will be issued.

Customers who are unable to collect an event book within the 10-day pickup period may request shipping for a $6 shipping fee. The shipping request and payment must be completed before the pickup deadline.

Shipping requests may be sent to kelly@litactuallybookshop.com with the customer’s name, order number and current mailing address.

Lit Actually is not responsible for event books that are not collected or submitted for shipping within the stated timeframe.
