Who We Are
Lit Actually is a woman-owned independent bookshop in Central New York. Not only do we sell books (feel free to check out our online shop), but we offer a place for readers to connect, celebrate stories out loud and feel books in ways that are immersive, joyful and, dare I say, unforgettable.
We’ve hosted sold-out author events like Hockey Romance Night with the Crunch or Hot Dogs & HEAs with the Mets, to exclusive launch events and community collaborations across Central New York, I am obsessed with creating experiences that feel bigger than just “shopping for book.”

The Lit Edit, our quarterly subscription box, brings you the newest, steamiest romance and fantasy titles fresh off the press, special gifts from local artisans or boutiques and seasonal bookmarks from small biz suppliers!
Each box is valued at $80-85 per quarter and will include 2 new releases from that quarter (may be paperback or hard cover), a gift(s) from a local artisan or boutique and a seasonal bookmark. Some quarters may include additional goodies from our featured authors!
