Lauren Biel
I’m Lauren Biel, a dark romance author with over thirty published novels and several titles in the works. When I’m not working, I’m writing. When I’m not writing, I’m spending time with my husband, my friends, or my pets. You might also find me on a horseback trail ride or sitting beside a waterfall in Upstate New York. You can definitely find me line dancing every week! I have a pretty normal life, yet my stories are anything but.

Avery Flynn
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling romance author Avery Flynn has sold more than a million books, which have been translated into multiple languages. She has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip. She lives outside of Washington DC with her family and a pack of five dogs all named after food. If she’s not reading romance or binging reality TV, she’s most definitely plotting to take over the world so she can banish Crocs from existence. Also, if you figure out how to send Oreos through the Internet, she’ll be your best friend for life.
@katiejungwritesKatie Jung
Katie Jung writes romance about the messy parts of being human, and what it means to define our own “happily ever afters.”
When she's not daydreaming about her characters, you can find Katie walking the golf course near her house (often listening to an audiobook), having solo dance parties in her car, or chasing after her kids with a cup of coffee that's most likely gone cold. She lives in Syracuse, New York with her husband and three children, and YOU’RE THE ONE THAT I HAUNT is her debut novel. Connect with her on all social media platforms at @katiejungwrites.
Stephanie Kirsche
Stephanie Kirsche is the author of the 'Syn Sister Series', a paranormal series that follows modern-day witches as they navigate the everyday trials and tribulations of womanhood while dealing with dark, malevolent beings that walk amongst them. The first two books in the series are available, with the next one set to be released next year.
Stephanie resides in Cicero, NY. When not writing, she enjoys pub trivia at her local brewery, watching football, and reading a book from her ever-growing TBR pile.

A lot. Frightmare has gathering areas with fire pits, seating, food and beverages, small shops and plenty of spooky atmosphere.
There will also be bookish vendors, photo opportunities, themed social moments and select Frightmare attractions operating throughout the night.
-
Frightmare’s actors are getting in on the bookish fun.
Leading up to the event, you’ll see characters appearing in social content reading romance novels and participating in other book-related antics.
They’ll also be available for photo opportunities during the event. We’ve been promised a few appropriately romance-coded masked characters, possibly involving some muscles and strategically limited layers, while keeping everything fun, non-offensive and on brand.—usually within one business day.
-
We are building this event for everyone! We know there are very different definitions of “fun spooky night.”
The event is being designed so you can participate at the level that works for you, whether you want:
Cozy fall atmosphere, a PSL and absolutely no desire to be chased by anything
A little spooky fun without testing your cardiovascular system
The full fright-fest experience and the possibility of questioning several life choices afterward
You can come primarily for the books, authors, vendors, food and atmosphere without needing to be a hardcore haunted-attraction person.
-
There will be three ticket tiers, with final details being developed by the Frightmare production team.
The highest tier will be an RIP experience, which will include additional perks, goodies and/or attractions plus access to a separate party area.
There will also be goodie bags for RIP ticket holders.
The other ticket tiers will include access to a designated number of Frightmare attractions.
-
No. This is a special event night, so the entire Frightmare Farms attraction lineup will not be operating.
The production team is selecting and scripting the attractions that will work best for this particular event and each ticket tier will clearly outline what is included.
-
We’re keeping this event 18+ unless you want to explain what a Cockmark is to your child.
-
Yes. Frightmare Farms is primarily an outdoor venue with multiple gathering areas and shed-style structures throughout the property.
There are tents available in the event of inclement weather and we’ll have contingency plans in place, but guests should plan for an outdoor fall evening and dress accordingly.
-
We’re going to hope October gives us peak sweater-weather perfection, but this is Central New York and we know better than to negotiate with the forecast.
We’ll communicate any weather-related updates as the event approaches. But this is rain or shine.
